The first of the Croft VPs I am decanting. I had this one at the Pro Wein last year and it appeared to be fairly closed. So I decided to give it some 24hrs decanting time.

Very dark, good reflections, massive structure. The nose is quite closed with a layer of a very good complexity underneath. Massive palate, but as well closed. The aftertaste is surprisingly delicious compared to bouquet and palate.

Whats not to like? But that one needs time as all the 2000s.
