Drunk at the Crusting Pipe offline on May 20th and the third bottle of GC80 opened and drunk in the space of a few weeks by TPF members!

Deep red in colour, just transparent in centre. Subdued on the nose, but perfumed and herbaceous. Very sweet in the mouth with lovely fruit; rich and full, and with plenty of tannins for many years of life to come. Very good development in the mouth. Spicy and lively aftertaste that grows huge and lasts a very long time. Wonderful port and a real surprise when its identity was revealed. 92/100.

I thoroughly enjoyed this port but seem to have taken very few notes beyond noting its colour to be dark red. It was my wine of the night, marginally beating te 1984 Chruchill crusted.
