Filtered. Deep red, with a very light touch of scarlet on the rim. Very grapey nose with some unintegrated alcohol. Tannic in the mouth, which gives structure but does not dominate. Refined and elegant. Fruit is plentiful, but in balance. Dry aftertaste with a long finish of cranberry. Really nice and long lasting. Too young to drink - leave for 5 years. 90/100. Drunk 26 June 2009.

Actually I planned to buy a copious amount of the unfiltered version. But my source finally offered only the filtered version. So I started with 6 bottles. The first bottle I drunk over 3 days. Not very much to add to the TN.
Yes, it's very young and very elegant. I enjoyed it. On day 2 everything comes a bit more together. Not a bruiser like 2000 which is dominated by the alkohol. Worthy of mention is the nose. I found this to be incredibly appealing! At once I knew what it reminds me of. On the nose it was like a top notch Beaujolais Cru (Fleurie/Chiroubles). No kidding! Anyway it was very enjoyable with grilled lamp chops.
