Bottled in 1979 to celebrate this brewer's 100 years in business
Two bottles picked up last night at auction for a princely £4 - there were lots of silly bids in the sale..
One bottled opened just now, and too my surprise there was still some gas pressure behind the crown cap of this 30yr old bottle.
More surprising is that it is also perfectly drinkable - not overly sweet, and not unlike a Newcastle Brown..
- Guzzled it will be..!
