Presumed to have been bottled in 2005, based on the serial number printed on the tin seal. Produced for Justerini & Brooks by Quinta & Vineyard Bottlers Lda.

Decanted off some fine sludge, still cloudy in the glass, with a very fine sediment that went through the coffee filter. On the nose, this brings gentle coffee and roast chestnuts. Hollow entry, but some orange and brown sugar comes through in a decent mid-palate. Good levels of acidity balance quite a sweet port. Some slight heat on the aftertaste, but a good length with spice and creme brulee dominating. Overall, this is a perfectly acceptable entry level tawny port and brings some pleasure when drinking it. 80/100. Drunk 7 Mar 2010 after 7 hours' decanting.

A wine snob might consider that to be an oxymoron

10 days after decanting, this was quite enjoyable
