With all the rush of the new 07s to the states along with the 100 pter 07 dows.

Anyone else in the NY area interested in helping me set up a 07 half bottle tasting?

I have 2 friends who are interested already.

i can also do this non weather permitting indoors. How about if we plan for mid October say Saturday, October 16th on Long Island at my place. I can bar-be-cue, cook or we can order in. I will toss a 2007 dow 375 ml in to the ring.
While I have around 100 stems I only have around 20 or so port stems so I will ask for those who can to please bring stems with them.

i also have a spare bedroom, 4 reclining chairs and some couches and floor space if things get a little hectic. My wife can also drive people too/from the railroad station as she does not drink. So those from NJ or a tad further please consider as well!

I have about 150 port glasses, so we can certainly work out the details on that.
Meanwhile, i go on the lookout for halves of 2007.
