Vinturi on port?

You know, the wine aerator.
Works well with red wines but never tried it on port.

We tried it this past weekend on a 03 taylor lbv and a 95 smith woodhouse lbv.
The sw was flabbier, sweeter and lost some structure.
the taylor pretty much stayed the same.
