Users of Internet Explorer might wish to read, from a recent Wall Street Journal, Microsoft Quashed Effort to Boost Online Privacy.
Firefox? On a Mac Firefox > Preferences!; on a PC Tools > Preferences!. Then on the ‘Privacy’ tab select ‟Use custom settings for history”, and uncheck ‟Accept third-party cookies”. (Which really should be the default: naughty Mozilla.)
