That's such a great deal for a good LBV. Over here, the best we can do is £15.15 (US $20).

Just bought a case (6 bottles) of 2016 Dow's VP for $39.98/bottle. On sale at a retailer near me and couldn't pass up that cheap price.

Bookers Cash and Carry are selling Taylor 2016 LBV for £8.99/bt (inc VAT) and Tesco have a Clubcard price on it of £10/bt

There seems to be a glut of LBV on the market at the moment - these prices are only around £2/bt higher than Taylor's First Estate reserve ruby.

Have you sampled many of the 2016 LBVs yet? I've only seen the 2015s so far but it seems like those are starting to emerge and I'm wondering how they're fairing in comparison to some lovely 2015 wines.

Interesting. I tried to buy some Graham's LBV 2015 from SFE, and they didn't even offer me the 2016, went straight to the 2017.

No - and as they are bargain priced at the moment, I wonder whether it is worth doing an 'economy' offline of 2016 LBVs?

Portugal Vineyards are currently listing 16 different ones, which would make a good table full..

I noticed that Tesco had a 2017 Taylor LBV last week which surprised me because I hadn't thought I'd seen the 2016 out. I'm really hoping that the Symingtons manage to keep the Graham's quality up there for the next release.

Have you had deliveries from Portugal Vineyards in the new post-Brexit world? I looked at Garrafeira National recently but the postage costs were about 70% as much as the cost of the wines so I didn't bother in the end.

I'll be picking up a case of the 2017 next week (it's en route to Bomfim as we speak). I'll let you know when I open a bottle.

Booker and Tesco don't quote the vintage online, but I noticed it was 2016 at Bookers yesterday. As PV are still offering the 2015 I assumed 2016 was a fresh offering.. :?

My Bookers has Taylor’s 2016 LBV but Sainsbury’s has moved on to the Taylor’s 2017 LBV. Majestic also are on the 2017 LBV but it is a dumpy 500ml bottle.

Ah: sorry: you are right. I saw the 2017 in a Sainsbury’s rather than a Tesco’s which would make a lot more sense.

My first-ever trip to a Bookers was today. A dozen T16ʟʙᴠ were liberated.

Only those with the greatest restraint emerge from their first trip to a cash and carry without some super-size formats of everyday items..

Apologies, but this isn't Port for sale. If Admins are suitably upset then please move to an alternative thread...

However, am posting as I'm certain at least one regular reader will be very interested.

Tesco are selling Vergelegen - a Sauvignon Blanc & a Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot - for £10 a bottle.

I have yet to try these, but will be buying as many as I can (hopefully) get.

My Morrisons has Graham’s 2017 LBV on the shelves now jumping straight from the 2015. For those interested in packaging they have at least one new coloured tube (purple) that these are packaged in (normal non-discount price).
I am a bit disappointed they appear to have skipped the 2016 LBV option as I have a case of the 2016 VP for my son Zac and would have liked to get some LBV to go alongside (albeit I know it is filtered and may not last…). I didn’t have the chance to grab a bottle but will soon. Hopefully it is as splendid as the 2015.

I bought some directly from SFE (super bargain price at €8) and it was the 2017.

Can report that I’ve been able to get zero bottles. Suspect there’s one Tesco in Aberdeen that had half a case of each.

Gave up with Tesco, but managed to get some from Amazon at the same price (and arrived next day).
The white (2020) is pretty good, the red (2015) is excellent although really needs to be open for 24 hours to show properly.
Have now made a further purchase of the red.

Stock was imported via Fells, so appears to be legit.

A local Morrisons had Quinta do Bomfin 2010 down to £20 a bottle (leftover Christmas stock I suspect).

Waitrose are having one of their regular-ish 25% off six bottles or more. Includes all their fortifieds.
