Bottled by Tanners. Darkest of the wines of the night; rich and red in colour, about 60% opaque. Slightly muted on the nose, mostly showing secondary redcurrants with a bit of spice. Lovely rich texture in the mouth, medium- to full-bodied, with a big acidic core through the heart of a huge mandarin flavour. A touch of bitterness in the mandarin. A big aftertaste, with a full finish of red boiled sweets that brought a slight medicinal tone. Lovely port, probably drinking as well as it ever will. 91/100. Drunk 27 September 2010.

GC70: second darkest at the table. Nose subdued, with dark plum. Boiled sweets / cough mixture. Very sweet and delicious. In the mouth very sweet. Big flavour of plums. Black Maynards wine gums. Lovely.
Later slightly hollow, though still lovely. Much liked by me.
