A fine all-rounder

Forgive my immodesty but I wanted Port Forum members to see my Linkedin recommendation from Linden Wilkie, who as many of you know organises the most splendid fine wine tastings available anywhere.

I have known him best as an organiser of fine wine tastings ”“ perhaps a facet of his career less known than his writing, yet in this capacity he has organised a complex array of contributions and logistics culminating in some truly landmark wine tastings, including the best Port tasting I have ever attended. Stuart is foremost a skilled and professional writer, bringing great colour to the page, as well as a sense of fun that is engaging. I’m sure he could write about anything, but on wine, it is clear that he draws upon a great deal of knowledge and experience. On that subject (and no doubt cricket!) he is a highly commissionable writer."
