S43. Apparently Sandman tried to bottle this all themselves in Swithins Lane, but the UK trade wouldn’t accept that.
Red-brown, 50% opaque. Nose faint, with some red fruit. Initially the texture in the mouth was rough. Later it softened, becoming light, very light, and pleasant, increasingly so.

Deep brown in colour, 20% opaque. Light nose, some floral flavours, sweet smelling. Lovely texture on the palate, medium-bodied and with intense orange citrus flavours on the mid-palate. Delightful aftertaste, and an intense citrus peel finish of incredible size and intensity - and of long duration. A very good wine. After 4½ hours in the glass this had started to decay and was showing a little rosemary on the nose. 89/100.
