Ive just got a serious offer for 36 bottels of Borges Vintage 1985, I cant find anything about this port on the internet

Have you tasted it ?

Had about 10 cases of Borges 80 over the years and it was gorgeous and subtle. I'd certainly expect it to be good. PM if you want to spread the risk :-)

I've been very underwhelmed by older Borges vintages, so wouldn't jump at this. Never did taste the 85 though. This is what Suckling had to say about it in 1989:
