anybody use Spectrum before?

I was tempted to bid but now I looked at a few lots and their pictures I'm a bit wary (including some bordeaux wines that I know well)

Some were just clearly mislabeled.

this particular croft 63, doesn't have a celo
and the label doesn't look right

what you guys think?

I have a croft 63 with a label (and cap) just like that - not to say that mine is definitely genuine though!

I can't remember whether it has a selo, but if it was English bottled in 65/66 would it necessarily have one?

Roy's learned FTLOP article on the Selo has a bit on this and English bottlings - see q.3 (need to log in to access article)

I think most of the Croft '63 was UK bottled - selo's were only used for Oporto bottlings. The bottle looks entirely genuine to me.

Levels on Croft '63 are usually quite good, but that bottle is down to VTS - so I'd pass..
