SW91. Red-brown, 40% opaque. Surprising colour for the age. Slightly stewed, sweet and cooked.
CRS: ‟flabby”.

agree 100% on the colour, smell was for me quite cooked as was the taste, dried fruit but somehow disjointed.

Modest red, pale rim, quite mature looking; 50% opaque. Very minty on the nose, slightly sulphurous. Sweet entry, hollow and with little initial flavour other than some light rose-water. Dusty tannins and light, sweet raspberry fruit take an age to appear but have decent weight when they do. Ultimately this has a good balance on the palate. Aniseed balls dominate the aftertaste, before a lingering and sweet finish. Overall, this is rather a lightweight port. 86/100
