C67. Red in centre, brown at edge, 30% opaque. Restaurant nosing of pepper and cooked fat, so nose not noted. Soft creamy entry, sweet early, heat mid-palate, with a definite flavour of Grand Marnier oranges. Mid weight. Lovely.

"Joanna" bottling acquired from BBR.Decanted @12.00.

Quite light in colour, sweet with velvety texture, still some good tannic structure there, good lingering finish, very drinkable indeed. Remarkable turnaround as had seemed very unpromising at D+0 and D+4hrs - another lesson.
**** (90-91)

Decant notes: soft cork and definite signs of previous seepage (lots of gunk under capsule as well), though level still in neck.

Very red with a spicy nose. Really smooth with some tannic dryness in the mid-palate - unusually young for an old Cockburn - very nice Port.
