Has anyone noticed recently that some screen names of people who recently signed up are obviously porn handles? Is there a way to prevent these potenial spammers from signing up?

I'm not sure how this could be prevented but KillerB and I do put in some time every day to sweep away the imposters.

Looks like we need another Admin-type member. Whilst Alex and Derek are busy, we've clocked up around 50 Advert Members who need the Electric Chair.

Everyone that signed up since the 9th of September, and has a WWW. link on their profile needs to be deleted...they are all porn sites.

It's just that it takes ages to use the crappy phpBB Admin function to find and get rid of them. Doing any more than 4 at a time becomes so tedious that it makes me want to fall asleep.

They were fine but they had real problems understanding Global Absence. Every time I mentioned Entitlements and Takes all I got was this high pitched whine.
