Jacob has regretfully had to pull out - is DRT still on standby?
If not, I will invite my colleague David Mitchell to join us tonight.

Very sorry but the winter vomiting bug has struck the Cookie household which means I am unable to attend this evening

Where was Jacob staying? Has his room been snaffled by RAYC? If not, I could invite a backup.

David Mitchell can't make it, so I'm reckoning we will be nine..

What a fine and splendid line-up that turned out to be last night! More to be said in the review thread when I have time to start one.
Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.
2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports.
