G80. Elderberry, 80%. Nose slightly stewed. Very dense, but also dry. My palate was tired and so my notes were becoming briefer.

Opaque, dark red. Fleshy palate that was very backward. Very good with potential. Chosen to drink with dinner.

Dark red in colour, with tinges of brown; 80% opaque. Little showing on the nose, just a hint of alcohol. Lovely sweetness and fruit on impact, with the mid-palate showing dry, charcoal tannins but almost hidden by the huge fruit. The levels of fruit grow to terrific levels until there is a fabulous aftertaste. A wonderful showing - wow! 93/100
