I found it fun to taste port with my brother tonight because we don't see each other enough and as kids we drank quite a lot of it.(due to my father finding it ok and supplying us)The Croft 1960 was ideal because it was not straightforward we compared it to the one we drank twenty years ago and agreed it had improved the harshness had subsided but so had the fruit.but all in all it is better now.

Simon,
Can you remember what you were given, all those years ago, or can you only say it was Port?

Simon,
Are you a 1967 baby? If so, I could stop off in Geordieland with a Cockburn 67 one Saturday night to say hello. I drive from Edinburgh to Chesterfield almost every Saturday night.
