2007 Quinta de la Rosa vintage port
Firm red colour, opaque. A touch of something odd on the nose, perhaps a bit of VA. Robust entry; lightweight and elegant fruit with strong tannins. Tannic aftertaste with a good persistence on the finish. Modest for a 2007 port. 84/100. Tasted at the BFT on 24 April 2013.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
