1966 Château Cantenac Brown

Post by jdaw1 »

1966 Château Cantenac Brown, Margaux, donated by griff to the 1966 Horizontal on Thursday 27th June 2013. This is a great wine, of big size, lots of structural features  dry tannins, acidity but excellently balanced. Really liked.

I do recall that this was rather delicious and coped well witht he challenge of coming mid-way through the ports.
Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.

2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports, except a good bottle of Fonseca 1927. Wow!
