190 cases made, not released. A blend not yet declared but under consideration. Deep red with a narrow rim. A slight reductive nose, but underneath is an elegant combination of fresh flowers. Mid-weight entry, bringing a lovely initial combination of flowers, fruit and tannin. The tannins grow first, taking a firm grip before allowing great fruit to display. There is more elegance on the late palate as the fruit develops more aromatics and the tannins relax. Dry tannins dominate the aftertaste and finish, which is full of sticky fruit that persists for a long time. This is lovely port with a surprising elegance. 95/100. Drunk 16-Sep-13

I was rather hungry and thirsty that day so did take my full lunch hour.
