Sweet, ripe blueberries on the nose; perhaps over-ripe. Smooth and soft texture gives a silky coating the the mouth. The fruit arrives at its own pace but is rich and sweet, matched by vigorous tannins that take over for a while and never let you forget their presence. Chewy tannins dominate the dark chocolate and black licorice finish. 91-93.

A much better bottle than the previous sample tasted in June.

you know

i'm a bit worried bt I'm starting to see some bottle variation in this!

two bottles i've had are outstanding the last one I had .

I had similar notes as you. still very good however it missed out on the extra "oompf"

Did you pop and pour this?

No, this was tasted over an extended period of 4 days, blind alongside the other 10 bottles which I've just posted notes on. Day 1 was pop 'n' pour.
