V06. No formal note taken, but full rich fruit-heavy VP that should be left alone in the cellar for at least another decade.

Also didn't take much of a formal note, but noted that it was 100% opaque and purple. It was delicious.

Plump and fruit-laden and and an interesting counterpoint to the largely unimpressive 83s on offer.

From magnum. Deep magenta in colour, opaque. Concentrated ripe fruit on entry; the ripe tannins support huge levels of sweet blackcurrant and lavender. The tannins grow and grow, but are always in proportion to the impressive levels of fruit, which is huge and really intense. The ripe acidity shows on the aftertaste with dry blackcurrant skin tannins dominating before a long, sweet and sticky blackcurrant fruit finish. Deeply impressive. 93/100.
