Is Port Kosher?

I hear that wine does not meet kashrut laws. Does that mean that there is no kosher port?

At some point I remember talk of someone making a Kosher Port in the Douro. But who???

There are a few kosher ports on the market. I believe Quevedo has one, along with Taylor and few lesser known brands. The main thing is the spirit has to certified kosher. Kosher marker is a great opportunity for those producers who want to go after it. Jews like to drink, buy things in respect to hallmark years (birth, marriage, etc), and are quite brand loyal.

The distribution model is a little different, but with right partners, there's some money to be made.

My vegan colleagues only drink kosher wine because no egg white is used in filtering it. So the production process of kosher port would be different in that respect.

Quevedo seems to be the producer of kosher port:

But I don't know if they make better kosher port than just a standard ruby.

There are other fortified wines that are kosher. When visiting González Byass last year I came across a kosher Tio Pepe in their shop:
