1990 Chateau Batailley

As my namesake would say: Lovely jubbly.

Great depth of colour with a rich golden hue. Classic nose, full in the mouth, long, dry and complex and not anywhere near the end of its life.

Great juice, of which I had only one bottle.

Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
