Deep burgundian red. Lovely classic nose of mature cabernet sauvignon with subtle cedar under generous fruit. The fruit is restrained initially but develops reasonably well on the palate, but is dry and slightly thin. Nice subtlety and restraint and the soft tannins match the lightness of the fruit. Elegant and gentle aftertaste and finish. This is a good claret for current drinking at the right price. 86/100. Drunk 28-Jun-14. Decanted 1 hour.
