1994 Redoma
Dirk Niepoort's second vintage. Lovely red colour, still some elements of youth and little bricking. Damp earth on the nose, lots of rich compost and a deep fruitiness. Gentle fruit, pronounced tannins and a big palate presence. Lovely mature fruit finish and a long, fine finish. This is a great mature wine. 88/100. Tasted 24-Jun-14. Pop 'n' pour
