From a magnum:
quite dark, 80% opaque, smells of forest soil,very smooth in the mouth, some forest soil in the mouth and a nice acidity, good body, quite a long finish, really very good. My wine of the night.
This also shows that Nero d'Avola is much underestimated.
Tasted at an event in a local supermarket in Cologne on the 5th of July 2014.
