Derek and Jo in Belfast, 15th November 2014

The beautiful Mr & Mrs Turnbull will be spending a night in Belfast on the 15th of November 2014, and I have been given permission to advertise the fact!

Does anyone want to join us? I will book somewhere nice, amenable to us bringing bottles, and I understand a shipment will be arranged for those looking to get bottles over to Ireland.

Please indicate here your interest and depending on numbers I will find the most suitable venue. There will probably be a small number of Belfast converts joining us.

I can offer lovely old (and new!) claret for the meal!

Ha! What a fairy tale. No doubt Gabrielle-Suzanne would be proud.

All I'm saying is, if she's anywhere near as dishy as him, she must be a dreamboat.

I hope it will not end like The Hangover Part II that was shot in Bangkok. But come to think of it: who of you would be the guy that is separated from the group and has to be found and rescued in the end?

I can't say I've ever watched it! But if someone has to be that guy, then I volunteer.

15/11 being a Saturday makes it unlikely that I will make it. Have fun!

"Family holiday" to visit granny and grandad (aka the babysitters)? Then you could bring Mrs Flash, which I think is the emerging theme.

(I haven't met Mrs Wiseman yet either, and would very much like to..)

Count me in. Will Derek have to show his passport at the airport on arrival?

Guilty. Oh well, if you'd mentioned Cocteau I'd have been there in a flash..
