Decanted 30 minutes. 50% opacity, brown red, hints of orange on the rim, long gloopy legs. Tea and leather on the nose. Nice balance between acidity and tannin. Some fruit hidden behind leather - little bit of cherry maybe. Not much structure though, bit thin. Maybe needs another half hour in the decanter and to warm up a bit more. Not as soft as some Brunellos. Initial acidity and sharpness gives way in an instant to tannin. Seems like there is no soft, full middle ground.
