Penfold's white prestige wine, supposedly made with the aim of being as good as Grange.

Deep lemon yelllow and appearing quite oily in texture. When first poured this was full of light honey on the nose, but with time in the glass this softened to a buttery lemon smell. Rich on the palate with a nice acidity supporting a flavoursome and slightly bitter fruit palate with a big presence. Loses a little on the late palate, but otherwise very balanced in profile. The butter-lemon acidity provides a big aftertaste and a long and fine finish. Impressive - for a white wine. 88/100. Drunk 18-Aug-14. Decanted 1 hour.
