Anything but Port, this includes all wines other than fortified wines (which have their own section) even if they call themselves Port. There is a search facility for this part of the forum.

2010 Cartuxa

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

From Alentejo. Deep red and young in appearance. Unusual on the nose, with fruit and plasticine. Restrained entry with the odd plasticine notes coming through on the palate. The late palate is dominated by the seep and concentrated fruit, strong acidity and big tannins. This will benefit from more time in the cellar. 85/100. 04-Sep-14. Decanted 1 hour
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
