Drunk at the Haag winery with Oliver Haag on 12th August 2014.

The dry wine in Haag's 'village wine' ('Ortswein' or Premier Cru) range, in the middle of the VDP's 'quality pyramid' between the estate wines ('Gutsweine') and the Grand Crus. A much fuller nose than the entry-level estate wine, rather full and buttery. A delicious mouth, lemons, but not at all sharp. The acid is soft, a longish finish.

I only found this note in my little black book: "less mineral than the estate Riesling, quite expressive, good, tasty", I marked this wine as one to buy when back home.
