NV Niepoort White 10YO

More golden in colour than the 1964 Krohn White alongside. Fresher but more restrained on the nose. Soft on the palate with apricots and white plums that combine to give a nice texture and lovely soft flavours. The finish is delicious with good power and weight and a great length. Much sweeter than the '64. Served as a comparison to the '64 on the recommendation of Beatriz Machado, Wine Director of the Yeatman. 89/100. 26-Sep-14. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
