Re: 2006 Hermitage JJ Chave Côtes du Rhone
From a magnum brought by Dirk.
Very pleasant indeed. Especially with 14oz of fillet steak. An acid nose, light body, with wonderful light, elegant acid and an excellent light tannic structure. The beginnings of excellent smokiness and tartness. The barnyard is a long way off, but I can see it on the horizon.. Did I mention that this was very pleasant?
