Taylor's 1945

The lighting's terrible I'm afraid but it's just been decanted:

… and thank you for the picture. We drink T45 too rarely, alas.

What a fabulous colour. I hope it tastes as good as it looks.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

If you're British, you'll know what is meant with the description: 'it was like a liquid Christmas pudding'

It was tested straight after decanting, nothing special, though great depth...The transformation at two hours was pretty remarkable and it was a truly outstanding port.

Because of the terrible lighting at night in our conservatory that picture above still makes it look darker than it was!

Excellent to hear this all worked out. Always a bonus when one splashes out on a bottle.
