Help (Yeatman)

Post by Chris Doty »

The giftshop at the Yeatman used to sell 88Fg. They may soon "used to sell" some curious bottles of 1966 "Yeatman" vintage port. Which, as I understand, is some 3rd tier label (morg?) that has been reconditioned and rebranded.

what would be a good price for these?

i am going to try one this evening for my own assessment, but i am prepared to buy them all...

Well, this was obviously my opening salvo, but Marco said people will be unhappy with him if they are all sold to one buyer. He is checking w- mgmt and will revert with my max allocation.

thanks for the input.

I'm pretty sure that this is the Morgan port; at least it used to be but that could have changed since this is a BoB now. Note that if you are offered the 1991 Yeatman then this not the Morgan brand - we own / have drunk all of that vintage!
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
