Adams 76, decanted 16:10 (DJ). Mucky red, perhaps because of its travel. But good port, some heat, and lots of bright red cherry fruit.

This should be labelled as Quinta das Carvalhas.

60% opacity, very cloudy plum colour. Sweetness, thin at the start, a bit flabby but big sweetness. Perhaps fading somewhat as it felt like the balance was a little off, lacking a bit of structure. Guessed to be Ca85.

Cork branded Quinta das Carvalhas. Very cloudy, mid-red, perhaps 80% opaque with the cloudiness. Gentle nose of soft red fruit, slightly sour. Neutral entry, slightly hollow but a nice balance between acidity and sweetness. The mid-palate is more fragrant and develops nicely, ending up being a lovely candied strawberry. Gentle chocolate on the aftertaste and a sweet strawberry finish; lingering and gentle. Served blind this was guessed to be Noval 1982. 86/100.
