Theme: Port Fit for a Queen.

The Queen became the longest-lived British monarch in 2007 and, if she is still reigning on 9 September 2015, will surpass her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria, as the longest-reigning British monarch.

Victoria and Elizabeth are arguably the most famous female names in British royal history - with Queen Victoria the longest reigning monarch, and the present Queen Elizabeth II set to surpass her record on September 9, 2015.

We should not allow such a day to pass uncelebrated.

We could choose a pretend theme, such as ‘Notable Years in the Life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II or the Life of Her Late Majesty Queen Victoria’, or a real theme. Open to suggestions. But sighted — we know much of the history of Her Majesty’s reign. (And if appropriate, this thread could be merged into a different thread that has a theme but no settled date.)
