Drunk at a fish restaurant in Matosinhos. Brown with a hint of red. Soft caramel and marzipan nose with a touch of apricot jam. Sweet on the palate, soft brown sugar and caramel with a touch of fire on the late palate of dates and dried apricots. Lovely apricot jam on the aftertaste with the acidity showing on the finish. Elegant and fully mature. Accurately described as "soft and creamy" by Dominic Symington. 87/100. 24-Jun-16. Decanted 10 hours.
