2003 Quinta de Santa Eufemia Colheita

Tasted at the Lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia.

Brick red, wide rim. Unpleasant rubber bands nose, not attractive. Nice texture on the palate, plenty of fruit backed by a big dose of acidity. Lovely slightly caramelised mid-palate but still with lots of the cherry fruit showing. Caramelised aftertaste and long finish. Nice showing. 88/100. Drunk 24 Jun 2017.

Had this today. Nose was not like yours....very good. And a really good young colheita. Good enough I bought a bottle. Will post note when I get home.
