Available from the Carlton Club @ £150 per bottle. Mature appearance, brick red and 40% opaque. Balanced, mature and delicious with a lingering and very fine aftertaste and finish. Wonderful port. JDAW found spearmint on the mid-palate. This was Oporto bottled in very dark brown glass. 93/100. Drunk 03-Oct-17. Decanted 1 hour.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
