V17: Very dry, with a green note that needs time to settle in. Good sweetness, long, but not to drink now.

D3: A dense fruit driven nose but still somewhat reserved brooding nature. A solid fruit density matched to clean balanced structure. Good persistence with a clean fruity perfumed finish. Quite Taylors like with its tightly coiled yet perfumed fruit profile but certainly not the power. (Vesuvio)

V17: Eight days later, it had grown. Others had gone sideways, but it had grown. The Vesuvio had settled beautifully, no greenness, just deep plum sweetness. My mind has changed from ‘uncertain’ to ‘impressed’.
