2005 Quinta do Noval Colheita (bottled 2020)

Bottled 2020. Warm toffee-red colour, 50% opaque. A hint of VA on the nutty nose of dried figs. Smooth entry bringing mature dried fruit. A lovely structure with a nice fresh acidity. Wonderful long red toffee finish and an enjoyable aniseed length. Very good Port. 91/100. Drunk 29-Feb-20. Decanting time N/K.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
