2004 Burmester Colheita
Lovely perfumed dark honey nose. Nicely balanced entry, sweet and perfumed palate with just a hint of muscvado sugar and tannin. Would benefit from a little more acidity to balance the intense honey on the finish. Tasted blind on 28-Apr-22. 91/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
