1995 Osborne

1995 Osborne, tasted 19-Feb-2025. A wonderful dark mature brick red colour, 50% opaque. Lively and spicy on the nose with a hint of bottle stink. Gorgeous entry with the red fruit dominating before the ghost of the bottle stink comes over the top. The slightly acidic redcurrant finish lingers lovingly for a while. Rather nice, fully mature. 89/100. Guess: CR70. Was: 0s95.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
