1975 Mackenzie

Mackenzie 1975, tasted 19-Feb-2025. A gentle ginger-orange colour, 20% opaque. Sweet jellied fruit on the nose. Very light on the palate, showing a little delicate orange jelly. Very one dimensional. Pleasant orange jelly finish, a hint of bitternesss but a nice lingering length. 86/100. Guess: S72. Was: Mk75.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
