From 90ml
More a lovely glowing sandalwood than mahogany. Tears down the side of the glass in abundance.
Big juicy verdelho madeira nose - vinagrinho, sandalwood, musk, bit of grapey sweetness. I spent 10 minutes sniffing it before first tasting it as it was so interesting.
Sweet only on very first entry and as soon as it hits mid palate immediately presents as dry. Dried fig, brazil nut, then a big burst of Sevile orange, then settles down to a nice warm coal fire of a finish.
White port, Jim, but not as you'd know it. It's really very good indeed.
